So, the culture is slowly changing.

It's not gonna be perfect.

Nothing ever is,

but I would say for
those African Americans

who are questioning going to the VA

that things are getting better.

Going there, you've earned those benefits.

Going to the VA and tell
'em what you're feeling,

and if you feel like you
don't have a connection

with your therapist or your
doctor, ask for another one.

But don't be afraid to
get the help that you need

for you or your family

because you definitely
earned those benefits.

And don't be afraid to say,

"I don't like this doctor,

or I don't feel like
my needs are being met

with this individual."

And ask for someone
until you find somebody

who fits you and your needs.
