You need to find somebody that is a fit for you.

Sherie Warner (US Army 2001 - 2007) talks about what PTSD treatment was like.

Transcript

My quality of life was not what I wanted it to be,

and I knew the PTSD was the reason for that.

So I went back to the VA again, and I got a new person who

is a really good fit and who I've worked with really well.

She listens enough and pushes enough.

It's not just sitting and letting me avoid what I'm there

to work on, but at the same time, she doesn't push so much

that it's not at my pace, so that I can do what I need to do

in the way that works for me because it's not cookie cutter.

We're all different, we all have different experiences,

and we all come in to this differently.

So you need to find somebody that is a fit for you,

that fits what you need, not what I need, or the last guy

you talked to needs, or somebody outside of you is telling you

you need to do, you need to find what works for you.
