So you might be sitting there on your couch thinking,

"This isn't for me," or, "I think I need this,

but I don't know if I can do it."

There are a couple of ways to

start that first step to get yourself in here.

One of those things that you might be interested in is an app

that we have that you can download called PTSD Coach.

So if you go on your Droid or your Apple phone

and just put in your browser "PTSD Coach," in that app,

you'll be able to see education on PTSD,

you'll be able to even take a short assessment on whether

you may have the symptoms of PTSD, you may look at all kinds

of links and resources that are in that app.

Plus, there is a relaxation technique in the app

where there's a voice that guides you through it,

and you can just set your phone down and listen to the voice

take you through a relaxation exercise.

Sometimes that's a really good first step

to getting yourself educated on PTSD, learning some of the

techniques, finding out what therapy is going to look like.

That can be really helpful.
