You look at everything differently, you look at everything

differently, after Cognitive Processing Therapy at least, but

after any group therapy, you look at everything differently.

Any time something gets an emotional rise out of you,

that is an interesting moment.

It's like, "That upset me, that made me agitated."

But even the good things, even when things make you happy,

you're like, "Oh my goodness,

I need to fill out an ABC sheet

on something that made me happy just now.

My daughter, you know, brought me a homework card

with an A-plus on it, I felt happy, I'm going to take steps

to make sure I get more of those events happening in my life."

Simple stuff like that is revelatory, revelatory for someone

who was so lost in the dark so recently.
