So when I first heard about
moral injury, it was through the

VA with my PTSD
psych doctor, Dr. Davis.

I personally didn't know
what I was going through.

I didn't know what
the terms were or anything.

What made it resonate was what
she was describing of what comes

with the after effects
of moral injuries, the guilt,

the shame,
the anger, the confusion.

When she started
breaking it down

to all of the subjects
and all the categories that

is composed of moral injury,

that's when I was like, okay,
now this is starting to resonate

with me
because I can relate to it.

Like, I, I know like what
what I'm feeling is

what she's saying.

So I know that

she knows how I feel
and she knows how to help me.
