We want to help you.

Dr. Shira Maguen emphasizes how much mental health clinicians want to help Veterans with moral injury. Veterans can also connect with a chaplain or spiritual leader.

If you have heard
about moral injury

through these conversations,

through the voices
of other veterans

and you think this might
be affecting you,

we want to help you.

And I think it's important
that you get connected

in whatever way
you feel comfortable.

You can come into the VA,
you can, you know,

seek advice from a chaplain
or other spiritual leader.

You can go
and find a veterans group

why they - where they may
address these issues.

There are a lot of options.

I think that you can decide
what you feel

ready for and just reach out
and get some kind of help.

We want to help.

And we also think
that it's really important

that veterans
who have these feelings

not live with them
on their own, but get some

kind of touchstone in order
to start the process of healing.
