We make decisions with you...

Dr. Patrick Reilly (Clinical Psychologist) describes PTSD treatment.

Transcript

When you first come into treatment, you'll meet with

a counselor that's very caring, very compassionate.

We'll talk to you about your symptoms and more about

how these symptoms are affecting your life

and possibly whether you have PTSD or not.

And from there, there's really a menu of options

that are available to you.

It could be individual therapy, it could be group therapy,

it could be a stress management group,

it could be anger management.

We have coping skills classes,

just a number of things that can be done.

But this is a partnership, we make these decisions with you.

We don't dictate to you what you should do.

We may make suggestions, but again,

this is a partnership that we work with you on.
