VA does have programs / for men and women Veterans who've experienced military sexual trauma.

So one of the powerful
things that I've done

is to go to residential treatment for,

specifically for military sexual trauma.

And VA does have programs all
across the country for men

and women veterans who've
experienced military

sexual trauma.

We know that men soldiers,
assault men and women.

And women soldiers assault women and men.

So going to an MST
residential treatment program

really helped me deal
with the sexual trauma

and how it affected my life.

It was so powerful to be in a
room with 12 or 14 military,

12 or 14 veterans who experienced
military sexual trauma.

Like we started that
program as MST victims

but when the program ended
we were MST survivors.
