Take the risk of seeking help.

Dr. Laura Gibson, Clinical Psychologist, shares advice for people who may be concerned about PTSD.

Transcript

- My advice would be to take the risk

of seeking help, to enroll in the VA

and take advantage of the benefits

you're due, if you haven't already done that.

And I would also advise you, if you have

tried therapy in the past and you

didn't have a great experience to try it again.

I found that many of the vets that I've

worked with have needed to sort of try, try again.

And it's worth trying again and trying to find

a therapist who you feel comfortable with,

safe with and you can move on and do good work with.
