The spousal support group is...very helpful to everybody.

Transcript

The spousal support group is supposed to make you

more aware of the PTSD symptoms

and how to deal with them.

And a lot of the women there

have been with their husbands for a good length of time,

and they know, they know, actually, all that.

But, I don't know, the women that I've found that were there

just want to talk, and they said one four-week class

is not going to do it for them.

So we started another little off-site VA spousal support group,

where we meet once a month in restaurants and just

chat and talk, and it's been very helpful to everybody.

It helps me that I can help some of these other

new women that are coming, that are younger,

and, you know, just to give them my support and my feedback.
