You know, it's funny, I see now how many things I'm so afraid
of before I do them and then once I get in there
and I do 'em, it's the right thing and it feels right.
These people that I'm surrounded with, I am so blessed.
At my VA, I have a psychiatrist that I've had for eight years.
I have a psychologist that I've had for, you know, ever.
Him, he just retired and so I have a psychology extern that's
taken his place and she works
at the Menlo Park Women's PTSD Center.
She knows how to deal with women Veterans and what our issues are
and we talk about everything.
We talk about parenting, we talk
about being a partner, being married.
We talk about friendships, we talk about goals.
Basically she helps keep me focused
on becoming a healthier human being.
