She had a breakdown.

I knew Jennifer had PTSD when we were in Washington state

and she had a breakdown, and she went and found a counselor,

and she started going to counseling, and she was diagnosed.

I knew that's what it was when she knew

that's what it was, and that was before

I ever knew anything about PTSD, at the time.

And so we were living together in Washington state,

she was out of her comfort zone and out of her safety zone

and finally broke down.

And when she went and asked for help from the right person,

that's when we found out what was really going on.
