PTSD doesn't care if you're a doctor.

Sherie Warner, US Army 2001 - 2007, shares her advice for others who may be concerned about PTSD.

Transcript

Doctor heal thyself.

If you think that you're above it or beyond it

because you've read more books, or because you've

gone to school longer, or because you've done things

that other people haven't done to learn about PTSD,

PTSD is not about school.

PTSD is not about understanding the phenomenon.

PTSD is about trauma,

and PTSD doesn't care if you're a doctor,

it doesn't care if you're a licensed clinician.

PTSD is about human beings, and no matter how many

letters you put after your name you're still going to be

a human being, and you're going to be vulnerable.
