I think that since he's been going to the VA,
I think that our family has gotten a lot closer.
I know that my mom and dad -- she passed away
seven years ago, so for five years after he was receiving
treatments from the VA, I could see a big difference.
She seemed -- now, she was always an understanding wife,
but I think it was even more so when she realized the horrors,
and she was very sympathetic to some of the things that
he might have done over the years that she didn't recognize.
We were not educated in that field, so we had no idea.
