A big part
that we've heard from veterans
is that they feel like
they can't share
some of these experiences
because they're worried
that they're going to be judged
not only by family members,
but by society at large.
And so they end up
having to keep this as a secret,
and that ends up doing them
a lot of harm down the line.
And so I think communities
that are understanding,
like other veterans,
can be a great source of support
for something like moral injury.
