Jerry Boggess, US Army, 1962 - 1986, talks about when he knew he needed to get help for PTSD.

Transcript

A friend of mine called
me and told me, he had it.

He had PTSD, and he said
he had went several times,

more than once.

He talked about the fact
that he went to see

this therapist,

and this PE, and this
stuff actually worked,

if you want it to work.

In other words, you gotta
apply yourself.

So, I thought about it
for a little bit,

and then one morning I
just woke up and said,

and I'm like this, I
just woke up and said,

"I'm gonna do it. I'm
going to take care of this.

"I'm tired of this
taking care of me.

"It's not taking
care of me.

"So, I need to get
some help."
