I didn't know what PTSD was.
I didn't even know that that was a sickness.
Once I start hearing about it and I find out what PTSD does
and what the symptoms were I said, "Aha!
I knew I had that.
That's exactly what I had."
So now that it's known, and if you know that the symptoms
that they're talking about all over the place, PTSD,
you don't sleep, stress, all the symptoms.
If you got them, say it.
I used to fight myself say, "No, I'm good to go.
I don't have that, that's for wimps."
I used to do that.
I thought it was wrong for me to admit it.
Now when I found out what PTSD was, that's when I say, "OK,
those are the symptoms I had."
So I know the guys now that are in the military,
I know they have them and I know they do.
I know they do.
And they know that they do too.
But I know just like I did, I didn't want to admit it.
And it's not that bad once you admit it, it's a lot easier.
