No matter what kind of trauma you have, the treatments are the same.

Dr. Karen Kattar, Clinical Psychologist, shares advice for people who may be concerned about PTSD.

Transcript

The most severest forms of trauma are those that have to do

with sexual assault, or being tortured, or being a POW.

Things that are very interpersonal tend to have

more of an impact on us, but that's not

a guarantee that that would happen.

severe and intense as a sexual assault might be.

But no matter what kind of trauma you have, the treatments

are the same because the symptoms are the same.

The symptoms are universal.
