The nightmares, the constant depression, the crying...

Andy Dunaway, Husband of a Veteran with PTSD, talks about what was hardest for him.

I knew my wife had PTSD because of the nightmares,

the constant depression, the crying,

and just a lack of motivation in what she was doing.

Actually, one of her mentors, Chip Maury,

which is a Vietnam Vet, said,

"You need to go see someone about your PTSD."

And she goes, "What do you mean?"

And he said, "You have it.

You're depressed, you have anxiety,

you can't be around people, you're irritable."

And at that moment, she realized

that she needed to get some help.
