For about three years, this was in...

2016 to 2019.

My wife did not sleep in the room with me

because I could not deal with something

as simple as her getting
into bed and touching me.

I went back to my doctor

and I told them what
symptoms I was having,

what I was experiencing.

And they tried to up this medication.

They tried to up the medication,

but the medication left me...

It took me to a place
where I was like a zombie

and I did not want to be so disconnected.

So what I started doing, I used some of

that cognitive behavior
therapy they taught me,

and I started before I
went to bed at night,

I would read things that were soothing.

I would try some deep breathing
to try to get me relaxed.

I do have good news to report

that my wife is back
in the bedroom with me.

And she's in the same bedroom.

She's not back in the bed.

She sleeps on sofa, but
she's in the same bedroom.
