My superintendent kept telling me that if the problems continued, I could lose my job.

Transcript

There was a moment when I knew I needed to get help

when it was last year and I was having some problems at work

and my superintendent kept telling me

that if the problems continued, I could lose my job.

I went to employee assistance program through work.

He referred me to a psychiatrist and when I got

to the psychiatrist, we had a nice long talk and he told me,

he verified the PTSD with bipolar.

And so I came back to the VA, filed my claim for the PTSD

and talked with various representatives

and now I'm seeing a VA therapist once a week

to help out.
