My name is Steve Connor.
I am a navy veteran
from 1977 to 1979.
I served on the USS Midway
out of Yokosuka Japan.
I was a mess management specialist.
Our home port was Japan.
We were the only aircraft carrier.
We were the only unit
that was stationed
overseas the whole time.
So from there I went to
many different places
including Korea, Philippines,
Hong Kong, Thailand.
