My name's Richard Paul Adams.
I was an E-2, United States Navy.
Served in Vietnam on an ammunition ship,
USS Kilauea AE26, from 1971 to 72.
I was an Ammunition Transporter.
I handled ammunition on the flight deck to bring
over on the choppers, to bring over to the destroyers
and the aircraft carriers.
And then a lot of times my job, they'd take me
over on the chopper, over on the carriers and I'd work
with the guys over there, make sure everything
that they were supposed to get they received and stuff.
