My name is Penny Anderson
and I spent 24 years in the Army.
Almost nine of it was active duty,
and then I joined the Texas Army National Guard.
With the Guard I deployed twice;
once to Bosnia and once to Iraq.
I was a mental health NCO,
or behavioral science NCO, 68X-ray,
from 1989 until I retired in 2013.
