My name is Claudio Calvo.
I was with the United States Marine Corps from 1968 to 1971.
I was a Radio Telegraph Operator.
I was deployed to the Republic of South Vietnam in 1969.
I was with the 3rd Marine Division, 3rd Tanks Battalion
in the Northern I Corps near the DMZ, in Quang Tri province.
I returned home in 1970, and at that point, I became
an instructor for the field radar operators and typing.
It was teaching Marines to type on a mill, which is all
uppercase, so that when they take a telegraph, they typed it.
It was faster than writing it down.
