My grandkids know about PTSD because they're around Steve.
And they see that he talks to himself, and I just tell them,
"It's posttraumatic stress disorder, and it's from combat,
and it's something that he deals with everyday.
So if he loses his temper with you,
it's not because he doesn't love you.
It's just, you know, sometimes, you know, he can't control it."
I mean, he's never physically been abusive
to any of the kids or anything like that, at all.
