I would say

that you need to work alongside

your mental health provider

and your primary care

provider to decide

what is the best treatment

for you.

For some people,

it's medication.

For other people,

it could be therapy.

For other people

it could be both.

It just depends on you

and where you're at.

And you need to find a provider

who meets you, where you're at.

The medication for me,

honestly has improved my mood.

It kind of stabilizes me

and equals me out.

The medication,

along with the therapy

and my service dog,

is what helps me the most.

That and talking

to other combat veterans.
