For me there's never been that "Aha moment."

Tyler Jones (US Marine Corps, 2002 - 2006) talks about what PTSD treatment was like.

For me, there has never been that "aha moment,"

"This is what's wrong with me."

It's, "This isn't feeling right, something is up, what is it?

Let's go take care of that, now."

I was pushed by members of my unit to go check it out,

but at the same time, they didn't force me to go.

They didn't drag me kicking and screaming, they didn't

hold my hand anywhere, it was, "This doesn't feel right

and I don't like it, and I want to find out what it is,"

so I can get back to work and back to what was

in my opinion and what I perceive to be normal.
