For me, it's a lot more open relationship.

I can say just about anything to him,

and I don't have to worry about

what's going to be said back to me because

we've both been, we've been to some pretty dark places.

So, whatever little thing it is going to be,

he's generally the first person that is going to know.

When I came out of the closet and told everyone that I was gay,

he was the first person that I went to.

We went for a long ride, and he was the only person

in my family who didn't have a shocked look on their face

and didn't, you know, it wasn't that people were upset,

but his initial response was, "OK," you know.

So I think, at this point, after, you know, years of therapy,

our relationship is probably

one of the healthier ones in the family.
