A lot of the folks I see were kind of prodded

by folks that care about them.

A lot of the Veterans I see have family members

who are impacted by PTSD and by the Veteran's PTSD

and kind of urge the Veteran, can you get some help?

Or the Veteran has maybe some battle buddies from Iraq,

if they're from that particular era, who have gotten help

and suggest that the Veteran come in

and get some help him or herself.

And sometimes a Veteran will figure it out on his or her own,

just that their life is unmanageable, out of control.

They recognize that, but they're not sure what to do about it,

so they come in and ask, "What can I do about it?"

and that gets them into treatment.
