Life feels better.

I'd be lying to you if I told you

that I didn't have any fears left.

I've been living in fear for 40 years

to a greater or lesser degree, but measurably better.

I can go to the grocery store.

I still don't like Costco, maybe I won't ever like Costco.

There's nothing wrong with Costco,

it's just very crowded and noisy, and unexpected things happen.

And I've had a head injury as well as having PTSD,

so it makes it harder for me.

But if I had to go to Costco, I could.

And there was a long period of time

where I would say things like, "I can't, I just can't."

And turns out, it's not true,

and that's one of the things that you can learn in treatment.

It's one of the things that I learned in treatment.
