If you feel the need to get treatment

or you think you might need to, you should.

Beyond a shadow of a doubt, you should go and seek treatment.

For a lot of people, they push it off

or they feel that there's a stigma behind asking for help.

Especially in the infantry and especially with elite units,

you feel that you're broke and you're useless to your soldiers.

Well, if you get help, you can

not necessarily fix it, but learn to deal with it.

And I think that's where everybody who,

regardless if you were in a FOB, or you were in a

safe house, or you were running patrols,

you really should get help if you think you need it

because at that point, for me, I went through

a lot of denial of, "Did I need help?" and put it off.

And finally, when I realized I needed help, it was too late.
