The kids feel so good about it...

Robert Evans (US Army, 1967 - 1968) talks about how PTSD treatment can help.

Transcript

My relationships with friends and family over the years,

that was really strained, and I ended up with two divorces.

And I've remarried, but especially with my ex-wives,

we are just good buddies.

We're always calling each other, talking about this.

We do social things together around the holidays.

The kids, and that's the biggie, though, is the kids

feel so good about it, they just love seeing their parents.

They understand the divorce, because they're in their

late 20s now, they understand the divorce,

that their parents have been divorced, but to see us

getting along and doing well with each other --

and I wouldn't have done that without the help I received

from the VA, I don't think.

I don't think that I would have joined

because I was very bitter.

I was very bitter about both those divorces.
