I originally come from
upstate New York
near Buffalo.
I went into the
Marine Corp in 1966
right out of high school.
I served from '66 to '69
with the Second Battalion
of Fifth Marines in I Corp.
My MOS was 0311, which
most people would refer to
as a grunt.
