If you're African American

and you're looking for an
African American doctor,

you are doing yourself a disservice

because while you're waiting

for this African American doctor,

your mental health is deteriorating.

You're not getting better.

You're not getting treatment.

You're still listening to
yourself, treating yourself,

diagnosing yourself and killing yourself.

It's not what color the doctor is.

It's do you think they have
your best interest at heart?

Can you trust them?

Can you give them all that
stuff you've been holding on?

Can you share it with them?

Can you just crack Pandora's box

and let them look in with you?

Trust that they will keep you
safe while the box is open

and share that stuff with somebody.

It's not about color.

It's about doing what you have to do

so you can get better one day at a time.
