I would say to you as a Veteran that seeking counseling

for dealing with the experience that you've gone through

is absolutely not a sign of weakness.

As a matter of fact, it's probably one of the bravest things

that you can do, is to face down the things that haunt you.

It's easier to walk away

and to try to hide it or try to suppress it.

It's brave if you can face them and deal with them because

it's not just that you're dealing with them for yourself,

but you're dealing with them for everyone who's around you.
