It's like comparing apples and oranges from military life to civilian life.

Transcript

Obviously, for all of us that have served time

in the military, it's like comparing apples and oranges

from military life to civilian life.

Everything is very structured.

There's the Do's, the Dont's, when to, not to.

In the civilian world, everything is,

it's very free flowing.

You can try to put some control on things like your children,

on your house or whatever,

90 percent of the time it's just not possible.

[laughs] So, yeah, being that I've spent over 13 years

in the military with basically almost four years active duty

in training and or tours, much of that is always

that controlled environment.

Being told what to do, telling others what to do.

And then coming home and like, was mentioned the traffic

and everything just kind of coming and going.

There's been a couple of times

where things have seemed a little bit overwhelming.

And it's kind of like, "Why can't I get a handle on this?

Why is everything all over the place?"
