It was the support of the other guys in the room that I had that got me through.

I was convinced that if I

started to tell my story

that I would break down
and start crying,

and that if I started
crying I'd never stop.

And

that scared me.

'Cause I didn't think
I'd ever be able to stop.

I told my story,
(laughs) and I cried

and I cried

and I cried some more,

but eventually I stopped

and it was the support of
the other guys in the room

that I had that got me
through that,

because I realized they'd
all been there before

or they were all there
at the same time

they were there.

They were there right
there where I was.

It was like a 10-week group
and we had probably around,

I'd say around 12 people
in the group at that time.

We just all kind of just
walked each other

through it,

letting each other
know we're here,

we're not gonna let
anything happen to you,

you're safe.
