I was sexually assaulted twice,
so I have PTSD from that.
But also, you know, just
the military culture,
how I was treated,
how I was treated as a Hispanic woman,
and it was almost like I was less than.
And that was a hard pill to swallow
because I came from a very diverse city,
I have a very diverse family,
and racism doesn't exist in my vocabulary.
