It really did seem like in the matter of a week

things went from, "I'm going to school every day,

everything's fine, it's my little family unit,"

to just a vast expanse of not knowing anything,

not knowing what's going to go on, a ton of uncertainty.

And it took years before I had any answer as to

what was going on or why.

And certainly, being 12 or 13, that's informed

quite a bit of my life as an older person.

There are still a lot of things that I do that, you know,

I'm sure that that whole scenario is the reason

that I do them all the time.

So it does have an effect, certainly.
