What treatment will do for you really depends on

what your goals are for treatment, what you haven't

been able to achieve because of the PTSD,

because it has gotten in the way.

But some examples of things that I've seen that people

have been able to achieve after being treated for PTSD

are things like developing friendships or redeveloping

friendships, becoming closer to your partner and having

more closeness with your children, engaging in

pleasant activities that you maybe stopped engaging in,

like playing sports, or going out, or starting school.

You may find that you are able to concentrate after all,

that you can remember things, that you can retain things,

that you can tolerate distress that may come within a busy

work environment, and that you can handle that better.
