I knew that I was gonna go into a session with my counselor
and I knew it was going to be a rough one and I knew the kind
of things he was gonna ask me about and get me to talk about.
And frigging heart's beating, you're racing
like crazy even an hour before you even get
to your visit 'cause you don't want to talk about this stuff
but you know you're going to have to and then you do
and it's a huge relief.
It does provide some relief even though it triggered me
in that fashion.
It took me an hour to calm down and be OK.
You notice after that hour or so of being triggered
that you get some relief.
You get some ahh [sighs] you know.
And the more that you do it, the better
and better it ends up being.
So sometimes in a safe environment,
in a controlled environment, sometimes it's good
to trigger yourself and to force yourself
into those uncomfortable positions 'cause it's
where you grow.
