Individuals in my life have said to me

that there was such a difference between

before I went to Iraq and after I came back,

that I was a different person then.

And now individuals are saying the same

thing, except in the opposite direction.

I'm not who I was before, I'm a better

version of who I was before, I now have

the ability to say no and mean it.

I now am more responsible to myself and

to my husband, and people have noticed

that and enjoy our company more because

I'm no longer, prior to deployment, the

social butterfly that's everywhere, and after

deployment, the viciously attacking anyone.

So people notice that and have definitely commented

that they like me who I am now, where I am now.
