I know for a fact I would
not be here to this day

because those are some of the skills

that I still survive on today.

I mean, I have to know
my red flag, green flags.

I have to know my thoughts,
behaviors, and emotions.

I gotta be able to pay
attention to what I'm thinking

and not actually know that
I have to act on things

and you know, that I'm safe.

I wouldn't be here today, I would not.

I mean, I'm still
married to the same woman

that I was married to 20 years ago

when I started hiding a lot of the-

who I hid a lot of this stuff from,

and it's all because of these treatments.

I'm able to be a father to my children

and be honest and open with them

about the things that
teenagers go through.

And that's not always fun,

but I get to do that today
because of those treatments.
