We know from personal experiences and research

that the sooner you're willing to do the treatment,

the sooner you're going to feel better.

And if you're willing to do the treatment sooner

in the process, meaning if you're willing

to do the treatment quicker after the traumatic event,

then the trauma has less of a hold on your life.

It has less time to build up habits and ways of thinking

about the world that maybe aren't so helpful to you.

So sooner is better, when able.

And if you're experiencing symptoms now

and you have been diagnosed with PTSD,

then it probably would be to your benefit

to consider treatment as an option at this time.
