If you are here and you're a Vet and you have kids,

whatever you think that they don't know,

they probably know.

If you think that they haven't noticed that you're

a different person or that something is bothering you,

they do know.

They probably know, before you admitted it to yourself

that something is wrong, they know something is wrong.

They don't know what's going on.

And I would say your best advice would just to be

very honest with them and let them know.

Because that's something that I certainly didn't have

for years, to some extent because my father didn't know

what was going on.

But just talk about it and let them know that --

it doesn't have to be exact words, but let them know,

"This is something that's hurting me.

This is something that I have to try to fix."

And boy, it's a lot better when you know what's going on

and you know that someone's trying to improve themselves,

trying to fix whatever's bothering them, than it is to just

sit there and question and not knowing much of anything,

not feeling any security, or not knowing what's going on,

or not knowing if it's your fault.

Just get some help, would be the best.
