I wouldn't ever give up on my dad...

Donald Sullivan Jr., Son of a Veteran with PTSD, talks about what it's like to live with someone who has PTSD.

Transcript

I would never give up on my dad, in his lowest moments.

I didn't like the things he was doing,

and I didn't understand them all,

but the love, no one is going to change that.

No one will ever change that.

For me, it's a constant, it's a constant.

And I've gotten a little bit older now

and started to realize that in reality,

and I've said this before, we're all people.

You learn what your dad's strengths and weaknesses are,

and you learn what he's overcome,

and you learn what he deals with and who he is,

and I think that only strengthens the love.
