I wasn't sure who I could trust
because part of it was I
also had additional layers
on top of my PTSD because of my MST,
and also because of the
moral injury that I received
from my chain of command.
I went to chaplain services
when I was on board ship,
and they were just kinda like,
"Oh, you should be happy
"because, oh, this ensign
was a hot looking ensign
"and so you should be happy
"that you're messing around with her."
And I was all like really?
That's coming from a chaplain, you know?
And I understand we're a military culture,
but still I'm seeking you
out as my spiritual leader.
