I was like "Wow, some of the same symptoms I have."

I didn't know about me having the PTSD because I thought

that PTSD was just for individuals that were in like Vietnam,

World War I, World War II, that was actually in the war.

I retired from the Army in '98, and I didn't hear anything

about PTSD until after the fact of the Gulf War

and soldiers coming back and being able not to sleep

and with waking up, and I was like, "Wow,

that's some of the same symptoms that I have," waking up,

not being able to sleep, and that's when I found out.
