I was too focused on raising kids and trying to work...

I did not want to go and seek out help

because I was too focused on, you know,

still raising kids and trying to work

and finish out my career and
do all these other things.

And I would just pile stuff on
my plate to keep myself busy.

So I didn't think about those things.

I didn't want to deal with those thoughts,

the things that had happened
to me while I was active duty.

I didn't wanna deal with those.
